Calm in the Chaos
Last week was an extremely busy and emotional week for us. We’ve had the hubby starting up at college having decided to retrain, one child starting up at nursery (someone was in tears at drop off and it wasn’t even the said child), one child struggling with a severe eczema flare up and to add to the madness we also had a car breakdown. The question that stands is how much have I reached out for my camera in the midst of the apprehensions about how our little girl will cope in nursery, worries about how we will cope financially with the changes in our income, and exhaustion built from nursing a very itchy child. Truth be told, I only managed to the once, which was a quick selfie portrait to update my Facebook page. I have heard it said that in the midst of life’s chaos we are best to cope if we remain focused and deeply dive into our interests making sure to stay positive till we overcome the struggles. I am thankful that I can look to Jesus, in such circumstances.
Though I haven’t managed to physically get the camera out, I have been thinking about photography and ideas for moving this little venture of mine forward. Hopefully I’ll get back into the swing of things this week.
