Potty wiggles, Pincer Pegs and scrubbing walls

You’ll probably wonder what this title is all about. Haha, I would too. Honestly, simply put this is just a snippet of what my day today consisted off. I often feel the need to be busy each morning; out at playgroup, feeding the ducks, at the ladies fellowship group or something else. Just keep the morning busy, that will tire out my little girl so we can have a restful afternoon. It’s often an unnecessary pressure and expectation I put upon myself. But then when we have quiet reflective days at home like today, it’s here I realise how much I love the less occupied days. Chats about why it’s not okay to paint the walls in your room with a dinosaur stamp, hanging out the washing with a little helper on side quietly contemplating how a peg works, being corrected as I wrongly share the story of “when Blippi came to our house”. This is what I imagine I’ll miss when she’s off to school.
